Volunteer
Your talents are needed at CC!
Volunteers are welcome to participate in a variety of ways to help support Colorado College's mission. Alumni, parents, and friends of the college are encouraged to inquire about opportunities to get engaged digitally, regionally, and on campus.
Volunteer Pathways
Volunteer opportunities are organized into five categories for ease of understanding.
Co-educator: Speaking or instructing in support of the college's educational mission. Examples include presenting in a class, serving on an expert panel, leading a discussion, and sharing your experience at an event.
Connector: Leveraging your social network on behalf of the college and the community. Examples include assisting students and alumni in career networking, leveraging venue connections for college events, sending welcome emails to new students, and recruiting classmates for alumni opportunities.
Evaluator: Serving the college by assessing students for special opportunities. Examples include judging applications for field experiences like Tiger Treks, interviewing or evaluating applicants for internships such as the Public Interest Fellowship Program, and serving the Office of Admission by interacting with prospective students.
Host: Serving in the planning or execution of college and alumni events. Examples include offering your house, office, or social club for an alumni gathering, such as Table of Eight or Party in a Box (click here to learn more!), providing a meal for a student field trip in your area, serving as a college representative at functions like alumni socials or athletic events, or creating and leading an alumni special interest LinkedIn group.
Service: Joining a board or advisory group. Examples include serving on the Alumni Association Council or your class reunion committee.
